This is one of the funniest things I've seen in a while.
In addition to the utter strangness of the "Big Pharma wants to control your body by giving you the means to control your body," her argument seems to fail on its own terms -- "Babies good! Therefore, contraception bad!" One may very well be able to come up with a morally coherent argument against all contraception (though I've never heard one), but to suggest that this new form of the birth control pill is someone worse for women than any other form of birth control pill or other contraception is simply absurd.
Of course, Neal Cavuto, apparently recognizing that he's brought in a total nutter as a ringer, has to set up and knock down his own strawman: "Booooo! Thirteen year old girls! Boooooo!"
It's distressing how much of mainstream news is like this today. Instead of reasoned discourse, we get the nightly iteration of shrieking heads. Whatever one may think of NARAL, the representative actually attempted to deal with the merits of the case. Her opponent simply continually says "We love babies! More babies!"
And yet, I'm sure that somewhere in America, there was a fairly large population demographic shouting right along with her: "More babies!
