Robert N. Emerson

It is a sad state of events when people in a position of influence on the general public out right lie or bend the truth in order to turn people to their line of thought.

All I had to do was briefly glance over the proposed Amendments' text and see how many of their talking points were refuted, be they outright lies or just ignorance.

Hopefully more centrists from both parties come out and vote for this Amendment in Missouri, sooner or later people are going to realize that everything that we need to survive, cure ills, and treat the malaise in life can be found with a mix of what we already have and knowledge that we find, discover, or grow into - such as stem cell usage.

No one is advocating 'egg' factors, as some opponents to stem cell research will accuse, but the usage of what is already there, unused, and going to be thrown away.

It is just a sad state of things; life shouldn't be about being either a person of faith or a person of science, the two are not an exception from one and other, but parts of a greater whole.

That is incredible. If it weren't so sad it would be funny. This is one Jesus that should be made to cry!
